ONE DAY TOUR TO MASSADA AND THE DEAD SEA Oct 18 

An exciting day awaits you as we leave Jerusalem.  Proceed through the new tunnel under Mount Scopus driving eastwards.  Drive through the Judean Desert, passing the local Bedouin villages with a view of the Biblical mountains Moab in neighboring Jordan.  Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada, the last stronghold of the zealots in their battle against the Roman Empire.  Ascend to the top via the new cable car.  After a tour of this mountaintop fortress, we proceed to one of the seaside for lunch and an afternoon on the shores of the Dead Sea.   Enjoy a “swim” in the rejuvenating waters of the Dead Sea before returning to Jerusalem

Via Jericho along the Jordan river to Sea of Galilee, Church of the Annunciation,  , Capernaum, Tabgha, Church of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fish, Nazareth, Haifa. Back to Jerusalem
